On 21 of July at 16:00 at Adjara Art Museum exhibitional room, Contemporary Art Space will be presented Igor Wojcik’s personal exhibition named as “Mechabiotylae”. This exhibition is a part of Polish-Georgian Culture
Festival, organized by the Culture and Art Centre in Wroclaw – Institution of Culture of the Lower Silesia Regional Government and Contemporary Art Space in Batumi. (adress: Z. Gorgiladze 8)
Igor Wojcik- graduated from the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wroclaw, where he still lives and workstoday. He works in painting, glass, photography and sculpture. In the early 1990’s he was a member of artistic groups such as Karuzela Braders (Roundabout Brothers) and Gabinet operacji Plastycznych (The Cabinet of Plastic Surgeries) and played in the alternative rock band Polawiacze Peret z Odry (the Order Pearl Fishers). He is a member of the creative group Silesium and founder of the artistic concepts of intuitionist speculationism and phenomenal art. Awarder the Officer’s Cross Order of Polonia Restituta by the President of Republic of Poland.
